A former Terp was a part of NFL history today.
The New Orleans Saints scored a franchise-record six rushing touchdowns during their 47-10 rout of the Buffalo Bills. Among those lucky enough take part in the record were Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, and…Trey Edmunds?
Yes, it's true. Trey Edmunds, the Virginia Tech-transfer who spent his senior season with the Terps last season, is apparently not only in the NFL, but also contributing to one of the hottest offenses in the league right now.
You can watch Edmunds chug his way 41 yards down the field past the entirety of the Bills defense to score his first career touchdown:

Of course, scoring touchdowns is nothing new to Trey Edmunds. He scored one rushing touchdown as a Terp, and was tied for first for the most punt return touchdowns in the Big Ten with one, according to sports-reference.
