What to watch for the Terps: Tired legs

Maryland is coming off a grueling game with No. 4 South Carolina on Monday in which the Terps cut a 26-point second half deficit down to three with a furious comeback. A Maryland team with an already-short bench was down to just five players in the closing minutes after Ieshia Small, Brianna Fraser and Stephanie Jones all fouled out in the fourth quarter.

If the Terps struggle at all in this one, it will be because of some tired legs.

What to watch for the Purple Eagles: Ball hogs

Two Niagara players — redshirt senior forward Victoria Rampado and senior forward Kaylee Stroemple — have combined to attempt 48 percent of the Purple Eagles shots this season. However, the two are shooting only 39 percent from the field as a whole. If those two keep bricking shots, it will be a long day for the team in purple.
