What to watch for Maryland: Playing time for Joshua Tomaic

With Bruno Fernando sidelined due to a sprained ankle, Joshua Tomaic earned some major playing time when the Terps faced Gardner-Webb on Saturday. Given that Catholic University is not even a Division I basketball program, Maryland will probably have another chance to use players at the end of its bench. That bodes well for the redshirt freshman to earn more experience.

What to watch for Catholic University: Jay Howard

If Catholic is to pull off one of the biggest upsets in college basketball history, it will be because Jay Howard has the game of his life. The forward leads the Cardinals in field goal attempts per game, points per game and minutes per game. Howard spends a lot of time on the floor, and when he’s there, he is going to get the ball. In fact, he has yet to score less than 20 points in a game this season.
