Maryland men's basketball had its picture day on Tuesday, and we learned some new information about the uniform numbers for several players.

The most notable news of the day belongs to freshman Aaron Wiggins, who will be sporting the number Melo Trimble made famous during his three years at Maryland: No. 2.

It's going to be very weird seeing someone besides Trimble wearing No. 2 and no doubt it will take a few games to get used to seeing the new freshman wearing that number on the court, but I'm sure we'll all be able to adjust to the change sooner or later.

We also learned from picture day that Joshua Tomaic and Darryl Morsell have both opted for new numbers that were previously occupied by their teammates last season.

Tomaic will be saying farewell to No. 33, instead opting for No. 0. The number was taken by Sean Obi and Anthony Cowan in the previous two seasons and was also used by Rasheed Sulaimon during the 2015-16 season.

Meanwhile, Morsell has seen his number increase from No. 10 to No. 11, taking the number that belonged to Jared Nickens during his four-year stint in College Park from 2014-15 to 2017-18.

There's no picture on social media at this point, but everyone's favorite walk-on also has a new number, according to Maryland's website.

It's entirely possible Andrew Terrell has been waiting three years for a chance to change from No. 24 to No. 4. As a freshman the number belonged to Robert Carter Jr., and Kevin Huerter rocked No. 4 during Terrell's sophomore and junior seasons. If that's the case, it's a nice present for Terrell's senior season.

Just remember: you can always count on Terps Watch to report on players changing their numbers.
