You didn’t think Under Armour was going to stay quiet tonight, did you?
This university and Northwestern are both Under Armour schools. And in two years, they’ll both be Big Ten schools. So it’s no surprise that the apparel company is going to make its presence felt when the Terrapins basketball team plays in Evanston, Ill. in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge tonight.
Pictured above are the shoes both teams will be wearing for the game tonight. They feature red, purple and black, highlighting both teams’ colors.
There’s been no announcement or rumors on whether the teams will wear special jerseys for the game, so it’s entirely possible we’ll see normal home whites for Northwestern and either road red or black from the Terps.
But with Under Armour calling the shots, don’t be surprised if both teams take the court wearing something outlandish tonight.
