Jasmina Perazic, a 1983 All-American for the Terrapins women’s basketball team, will be inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame next June as part of the six-member class of 2014.

Perazic is the Terps fourth inductee, behind her coach Chris Weller, Vicky Bullett and Tara Heiss.

Perazic helped the Terps win three straight ACC titles from 1981 to 1983 during her time in College Park and the team reached the Final Four in 1982. She scored 1,396 points during her college career.

In addition, Perazic played for the Yugoslavian National Team in the 1980 and 1984 Olympics, earning the Bronze medal in 1980. She also played one year for the WNBA’s New York Liberty in 1997.

“She had an amazing career here at the University of Maryland, where her name and number hang in the rafters,” Terps coach Brenda Frese said in a press release. “Simply stated, her resume is amazing and worthy of this honor. We are really happy for her and her family.”
